Quick start guide
Ensure soundbug2(s) are fully charged
Activate Bluetooth on host (e.g. phone, iPad, Galaxy etc).
Switch ONE soundbug2 ON, green light will come on and blue light will flash.
Activate Bluetooth search mode on host from Bluetooth menu, e.g. this may appear as ‘NEW PAIRED DEVICE’ or ‘CONNECT AUDIO ENHANCEMENT.’
When soundbug2 has been found, select FeONIC SOUNDBUG2 from list of available Bluetooth devices and if prompted, choose CONNECT. If asked, enter pass-code 0000. If host asks ‘AUTHORISE DEVICE TO MAKE CONNECTION AUTOMATICALLY?’ select ‘YES’ to allow future connections to be automatic.
When connection is established, the BLUE light on soundbug2 will initially turn solid for 10 seconds, then it will FLASH rapidly to indicate that the soundbug2 is searching for a partner. soundbug2 is now ready to playback music from the host. NOTE It is only necessary to connect ONE soundbug2 to the host device – DO NOT TRY TO CONNECT BOTH to HOST.
To add a second soundbug2 to play stereo - PAUSE/STOP music on host. After 10 seconds, the solid blue light will start flashing rapidly indicating it is looking for a second soundbug2. Turn ON the second soundbug2 and wait until the blue light on both are SOLID BLUE (not flashing) before sending music.
To adjust volume - press left hand switch to decrease volume, and right hand switch to increase volume on either soundbug2.
To switch OFF soundbug2(s) - press down ON/OFF button for 3 seconds until lights go out.
The pairing procedure need only be carried out the first time the soundbug2’s are used with a new host. Reconnection is automatic when soundbug2(s) are next switched on.
To connect your soundbug2(s) to a new Bluetooth host;
RENEW soundbug2(s) - both devices if using a stereo pair - by turning them OFF then after 10 seconds press the ON/OFF button again for approximately 5 SECONDS until all three lights flash briefly and go OFF.
The soundbug2(s) will then automatically turn ON and a GREEN LIGHT will appear to show it is ON and a BLUE flashing light will appear to show the soundbug2’s are searching for a Bluetooth device. Turn both soundbug2s off.
Repeat above steps to connect to a new host.
